Palm Bunch Ash (PBA)

Palm Bunch Ash (PBA) is a waste biomass derived from oil palm empty fruit bunch. After extracting the oil from the oil palm fruit bunch, the empty fruit bunch is then put through a special incineration process to produce palm bunch ash. This PBA is known to be the cheapest source of potassium and also an organic source of potassium. Because of PBA is basic in nature, it is also suitable to be applied in acidic soils.
