Polymer Coated Urea (PCU) is a urea granule that is coated with polymer to help reduce the loss of urea due to volatilization and leeching. PCU can prolong the release of urea nitrogen into the soil over an extensive period of time. The thicker the polymer coating, the longer the urea nitrogen can release nitrogen into the soil.
